Meals at The White Elephant House are in the style of the estate – very carefully prepared and elegantly simple. Everything is the freshest possible and served straight from the stove. Dinner is a private dinner party. There is no choice of menu, however, since dinners are planned well in advance, substitutions can be made – you have only to ask.
Usually, our menus are created from the following selections. If there is something you would particularly like during your visit, let us know a reasonable time in advance.
Orange Juice, Eggs Any Style or Griddle Cakes or French Toast
Bacon, Sausage, Toast, Jams, Butter, Coffee, Tea, Milk.
As we do not serve lunch, we recommend lunch in the village at Somtum Inter.
Dinners at The White Elephant House are informal, family affairs. Khun Tan cooks fabulous Isaan dishes – and Ted cooks international favorites. Following drinks on the terrace, we dine in the Great Hall or poolside.
